WINNIPEG - Blue Bombers quarterback Brian Brohm will make his first CFL start under less than ideal conditions. China Shoes For Sale . The Winnipeg backup will be throwing behind a revamped offensive line when he fills in for regular starter Drew Willy (hand) on Saturday against the visiting Calgary Stampeders. Brohms team is also mired in a six-game losing skid while Calgary has lost just twice this season and leads the CFLs overall standings. You can watch the game tonight starting at 7pm et/4pm pt on TSN1, TSN3, TSN4 and TSN 5. Brohm, who got word Friday morning that he would start, said hes up for the challenge. Yeah we have some new guys that are getting their first experience just like me, so we dont know exactly how theyre going to perform, he said. But we have confidence in them that theyre going to go out there and do the job. I feel good about those guys up front. Hopefully they feel good about me throwing the ball behind them. Were going to go out there as a group and do our best. Calgary (12-2) is coming off a bye week and can clinch first place in the West Division with a victory. A loss will provide another blow to Winnipegs fading playoff hopes. The Stampeders will have starting quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell back in the lineup after he missed three games with knee and ankle injuries. Very, very eager, Mitchell said when asked how hes feeling. Im definitely just ready to get back on the field with the guys. Brohm, who has played in three games this season, filled in for Willy in last weeks 41-9 loss to Edmonton. Willy fumbled in the second quarter and then hurt his right hand when he lunged and fell while trying to stop Eskimos linebacker Dexter McCoil. Bombers head coach Mike OShea said Willy just didnt have enough grip strength in his right hand to make longer throws so it was a no-brainer to start Brohm, who took all the reps this week. The six-foot-three Brohm was a 2008 draft pick of the NFLs Green Bay Packers. He was later waived and picked up by Buffalo, but his last start with the Bills was in 2010. This will be the first time the Stampeders and Bombers have played each other this season. Calgary head coach John Hufnagel said he isnt too familiar with Brohm. I know that he throws the ball very well, he said. He can be dangerous. Were going to have to be ready for him. Brohm signed with the Bombers last year, but injured his left elbow in a pre-season game and didnt see action again. He almost started a game a few weeks ago but Willy recovered from a shoulder injury in time to make the start. Stampeders running back Jon Cornish missed one day of practice this week with the flu, but hes ready to continue his climb up the rushing ladder. Hes at 817 yards on the season, just 32 behind leader Anthony Allen from Saskatchewan. Bombers linebacker Johnny Sears said hes looking forward to going up against Cornish. We know what he brings, he said. We know what the whole team brings. Theyve got a good offensive line so weve got to make sure we stay in our gaps. Weve got to be stout against this run game this week. Sears was moved to linebacker this week from halfback and backup defensive back Don Unamba is starting at linebacker. Winnipegs defence has allowed a league-high 129.3 yards rushing per game. Calgarys is the second stingiest at 91.2 yards. The Stamps defence is also second in the league with 18.8 points allowed per game, while the offence is tops with 28 points per game. Mitchell said Winnipegs defence, which has allowed the second-most points per game (27.1), is better than the numbers suggest. I think theyve been put in some tough situations and given short fields on defence so I think the stats kind of lie a bit, Mitchell said. Theyre better than what the stats show. Winnipegs revamped offensive line features Jace Daniels, who arrived in Winnipeg on Oct. 7 and replaced injured left tackle Glenn January (back). Matthias Goossen will suit up for his second game of the season at right guard. Centre Steve Morley, right guard Devin Tyler and Chris Greaves at left guard round out the group. The last two games, weve got blown out both games and now we have the No. 1 team coming in Calgary, Morley said. Its not impossible, but I think if everything goes right we have a chance to pull this one out. Winnipeg also had some upheaval this week in the backfield. Starting running back Nic Grigsby asked for and received his release after he was told hed be sitting out for a second straight game in favour of Paris Cotton. Cotton has 19 carries for 51 yards this season, including eight for 31 yards last week against Edmonton. I approach everything as a pro, Cotton said. That situation (with Grigsby) was unfortunate, but it hasnt changed me at all. Notes: The Stampeders are changing their field-goal unit. Receiver Brad Sinopoli (a former quarterback) will hold for placekicker Rene Paredes instead of punter Rob Maver. … Calgary is 6-1 on the road this season while the Bombers are 3-4 at home. Winnipeg is 1-6 against West Division opponents while the Stampeders are 5-1. Fake Jordan Shoes . He was headed for his fourth triple-double of the season, but sat down with about three minutes left because of the lopsided score. Now, Sarah Burkes legacy will live on in Canadas Sports Hall of Fame. Burke, who tragically died at age 29 from a training accident in 2012, headlined the 2014 class named for induction Wednesday.JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Dolphins didnt even feel good about this victory. The Dolphins got — and maybe needed — all kinds of help to win consecutive games for the first time this season.Rookie Blake Bortles had two interceptions returned for touchdowns, the most costly of the mistakes that Miami used to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-13 on Sunday.Coming off a 27-14 win at Chicago, Miami was overwhelmingly flat in its second straight road game and looked nothing like a potential playoff team facing a rebuilding squad filled with rookies and second-year players. We didnt perform up to our standards in any phase of the game offensively, Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill said. Defence played well. Defence made plays. Im not happy about how we played offensively. It has to be better. We have to get this corrected. The Dolphins (4-3) opened with three three-and-out possessions and gave up huge yardage to Jacksonville. But they led 7-0 after Delmas 81-yard interception return in the second quarter, and 17-3 following Brent Grimes 22-yarder in the third.Im killing us, Bortles said. Ive got to try to eliminate different things and get better.Tannehills 3-yard touchdown pass to Rishard Matthews made it 24-6 late in the third quarter and gave the Dolphins a comfortable cushion in a game they could have easily trailed by double digits. The Jaguars (1-7) dominated the first half, but trailed 10-3 at the break because of a slew of miscues. Bortles was the main culprit, continuing a trend that started when he took over the starting job last month.Bortles had three turnovers Sunday, giving him six in the past two weeks and 13 in six games. Four of those have been interceptions returned for touchdowns. He became the first quarterback since the New York Jets Geno Smith last year to have two picks returned for TDs in the same game. Smith did it against Cincinnati, also in Week 8.We have to come back and truly attack these things because we cant continue in this fashion, Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said.At one point late in the first half, the Jaguars had outgained Miami 199-4. It didnt last.Tannehill did just enough to get the Dolphins going and turned a close game into a lopsided affair.Tannehill completed 16 of 29 passes for 196 yards, with a touchdown and an interception. Mike Wallace had two receptions for 59 yards.Lamar Miller rran 14 times for 78 yards. Cheap Shoes Fake. When we dont play well in the first half, we have these types of games and we cant afford to have that take place down the road, Dolphins guard Mike Pouncey said.Jacksonville was without two starting defenders, linebacker Paul Posluszny and cornerback Alan Ball, but played well enough to win for the fourth consecutive week. The Jaguars gave up 326 yards. But much like the previous losses, Jacksonvilles offence did little good and too much bad.Bortles was 18 of 34 for 221 yards, with a touchdown and two interceptions. He threw a 48-yard strike to Allen Robinson with 2:19 remaining.Obviously disappointed, Bortles said. Im not going to say Im mad at myself cause thats not going really going to help anything. Nobody cares, and its not going to help me do anything. Youve just got to learn from it. Youve got to go figure it out, start watching film and find out what you can do to try to be better. The Jaguars could have been up big early, but miscues kept it close. Josh Scobee had a field goal blocked and had a 46-yarder negated by a holding penalty. The biggest momentum swing came after Bortles found Cecil Shorts III for an 18-yard gain to the 5. Shorts fumbled, and teammate Allen Hurns recovered at the 1. But the play was nullified by an illegal shift.Bortles was picked off on the next play. Delmas stepped in front of a pass intended for tight end Nic Jacobs and went untouched the other way for a 7-0 lead.Bortles had another head-scratching moment later in the second quarter. He scrambled up the middle and probably should have slid. Instead, linebacker Jelani Jenkins got a clean shot and forced a fumble that Delmas recovered. The Dolphins turned that into a field goal and a 10-3 lead. The backbreaker for Jacksonville was Grimes interception return early in the third. If it doesnt make you mad, then something is wrong with you, Bortles said.Notes: Jaguars RB Denard Robinson finished with 108 yards on the ground, the first Jacksonville player to top the century mark in consecutive games since Maurice Jones-Drew in 2011. ... Dolphins LG Daryn Colledge left the game with migraines. His replacement, Nate Garner, came in for one play before leaving with an ankle injury. ... Jaguars recorded three sacks and allowed four.___AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL ' ' '
